- 1 T. butter
- 1 T. flour
- 2 c. 2% milk
- 1/2 c. canned pumpkin
- 1/4 c. parmesan cheese
- 1 T. maple syrup
- 1 t. pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 t. ground sage
- 1 t. salt
Instructions
- In a medium sauce pan, over medium-high heat, melt butter for 30 seconds then add flour. Whisk into a paste and add milk until it thickens (about 8-10 minutes).
- Stir in canned pumpkin through salt.
- Whisk until well combined.
- Combine with entire package of cooked fall zucchette pasta.
